New Orleans!

Over spring break, I visited New Orleans for the first time! I loved going down there. The French Quarter was cool to visit once and eat at Cafe Du Monde but I'd like to go back and spend more time in the Garden District and down Magazine Street. My friends and I stayed at an Airbnb in Mid-City, which was great for us - about 30 minutes by trolley to the French Quarter.

One of my favorite things about wandering the streets was seeing how many plants and front-stoop gardens there were like this. It was so refreshing! The houses were so close together, but surrounded by green.

I can't wait to go back!

Sketch-a-Day December | Week 2

Here's my week two post of my sketch-a-day. On day 8 I traveled home for Christmas break and started out the week strong with some drawings that I really like. But you can see towards the end the time I spend on each is getting shorter. This next week that I'm currently on is especially sad, but I did get something down everyday which was a success. Here's to a new week!

last night i was going through some of my scanned film from the summer and an old old roll. i love it. film is the best. #shootfilmstaybroke << becoming my life reality.

+ i'm debating on buying a nikon fm2. we'll see.
