let's go to PEI | Part 2

Tuesday, August 5

Read Part 1 here.

We made to the coast of Maine for a two nights stay in the seaside town of Ogunquit. My dad and mom frequented here when they were in college and newly weds so they had several favorite spots they wanted to take us.

After setting up at Dixon's campground and going for a quick swim, we hopped in the car to head out for dinner. Mom and dad wanted to go to the Lobster Shack, a restaurant along the sea that they used to stop at back in the day.

I tried the Lobster wrap and it was delicious. I've never been a huge seafood eater, but this was sooo good. I would recommend eating here if you find yourself in this little town.

After dinner, we headed out to walk along the sea on the Marginal Way. This walkway follows along the coast ending at Ogunquit Beach.

The next morning we went sea kayaking. I was able to get some pictures with my waterproof disposable camera but I still need to finish the roll. There should be some good ones on there.

Soon it was time to pack up and begin the journey into Canada.
