So. Finally at the third part of this trip up to the Island.
Last time we left off at the border of Canada, heading towards the New River Beach provincial campground. The plan was to stay there one night before continuing our way up to Prince Edward Island.
We pulled in around four or five and quickly set up. The air was cool and there was a change in the foliage. The woods were dense and the mosquito's were many. We decided to go for a walk down to the beach before eating dinner and the sun set. There were many trails off the beach that we wanted to explore.
The lighting was perfect for photos and of course I took loads so prepare yourself for a long photo post..as always.
^^the entrance to the campground^^
^^getting set up^^
^^lots of bug repellent was needed^^
^^heading to the beach^^
^^playing with the sand is a must^^
^^heading towards the woods^^
The paths followed along the coast letting out at different view points. It was a beautiful hike with the evening sunlight.
^^the paths were often these three boards running along because the ground is soft^^
^^my parents..a little disproportional but fun^^
^^loved these walkways^^
^^I had my parents pose for this one. It was just too nice to let pass by - the lines, the lighting...^^
^^playing by the sea^^
^^back through the thick woods^^
We walked back down towards the beach to go back to the campground, but the tide had already come up too far. It blocked the way around that little curve and rock you can see in the photo above. So we had to walk the long way through the neighborhood roads.
^^Full moon^^
^^the signs are almost always pictures or short text with pictures.^^
^^walking back by the light of the moon (and a little bit of remaining sunlight)^^
That's all for now. Stay tuned for parts 4 & 5. :)
